Each bowl and treat jar is beautifully custom made and created with the same care and attention you give your pet. The entire design process from mold crafting to glaze firing is done by the artist in her studio. Each piece is given 3 - 4 paint applications, resulting in the rich, vibrant colors present on each piece. After painting applications, they are bisque fired in the kiln, glazed in a handmade lead-free glaze and fired a second time to 1946 degrees. No two pieces are exactly alike, and there are always minor variations in color and design from piece to piece. These variations are the hallmark of fine hand-painted pottery.
